Meet the Microorganisms -The Organic Compost Guide: How to Make Your Own Compost, The Vital Component For Successful Organic Vegetable Gardening, All The ... Need To Purchase Compost Fertilizer Again

If you think about it, the compost pile you want in the back yard is actually a teeming mass of bacteria, fungi, and other microorganisms. That may sound a little disgusting, but it's really a good thing. The organic material that you put into the compost pile contains elements that plants need to grow. But those elements are locked up, unusable until bacteria and fungi break down the material.

In this book we will take a closer look at the microscopic life forms that cause decomposition to happen. You will also discover how and why you should be composting, what you should and what you shouldn't put into the compost pile, which materials need special handling, when and where to use your compost and much more.

FLORENCE / FIRENZE. Pisa Aeroporto. Arrivederci

FLORENCE / FIRENZE. Pisa Aeroporto. Arrivederci

Since my Pisa-Florence train was late by an hour I decided to play it safe and head for the airport at 5pm for my 10pm flight.

As I mention in the Tuscany set I purchased the return ticket at the same time as the Pisa-Florence and thank goodness, because the Florence train station is a mad house.

Train tickets Pisa Centrale (City)-Florence-Pisa Airport: Biglietto treno ordinario. Valid for 2 months less a day. Classe 2 (you can pay more money for Classe 1 but there's not that much difference in my opinion).
5,20 euros each way (10,40 both)

It will show as Pisa centrale-Firenze and the return ticket Firenze- Pisa aeroporto. However, take note that despite saying on the ticket Pisa Aeroporto; this means taking the train that goes to Livorno and getting off in Pisa Centrale. There you take another train that goes to the airport (normally on rail 14, but occasionally also on rail 8). Pay attention to the speakers.

I almost got left behind since I kept waiting for them to announce "Pisa Airport", then I saw that below the train time notice board there was a sign that said Pisa Airport track 5 but since I didn't see any posting of trains in track 5 I decided to ask the Information Desk (long line) and a man told me about the Livorno conection.

Have patience for the info people have a general grasp of English and by 5pm, little patience. I had to ask him to repeat everything 3 times (it wasn?t much better in Spanish).

Pay attention to get off at the right station since Pisa airport is not the last stop. Check out the billboard marking times on the previous train stations since it will say at what time the train arrives in Pisa and that gives you a clue. Get your suitcase ready and move towards the doors 10 minutes earlier as the train makes a quick stop before moving on.

In comparison the train to the airport is less than 10 minutes and leaves you a few steps away from building A or B. A sign tells you which airlines fly out of which building. One is the larger building where the toilets, restaurants and shops are; the other the smaller building with just the check-in counters.

The restaurants don't take visa, only cash. The drink machine charges 1 euro for water and drinks, and you don't have to pay to go into the toilet (unlike some other places).

My flight out ended up being late by an hour but this is not uncommon with Ryanair. You get cheap fares but you don't always get on time. It's an even trade for me.

203/365: A Day in the Life - Norway or Bust!

203/365: A Day in the Life - Norway or Bust!

Taken roughly every hour, on the hour, from waking to sleeping. It wasn't really a normal day, as we stayed in a caravan park the night before (due to really needing to charge laptops and batteries, and wanting to try and catch up on internet stuff, and do some skyping).

6am: Bleh, it's been light for a while, I'll give up and get up now
7am: Time to start calling those evil airline people to try and sort out fixing up my return flight date, and cancelling Mr. Toastercat's
8am: New flight segments cannot be booked unless they're the same as every other flight segment, including the ones I've already taken. There are no flight segments available anywhere round the 3 week time period I gave them, they say my only option is to cancel the ticket and re-purchase a much more expensive one. ARGH!
9am: Finally we're packed up and leaving the campground - cycling round the lack, you can probably see the shores of the swimming place by the campground if you squint hard. It was a nice spot.
10am:
We stopped to grabbed groceries, and then this is actually taken a bit before 10, but still - leaving Ed.
11am: A butterfly by the lake - we're cycling up north and crossing into Norway, hopefully by lunchtime.
12pm: Hurrah, Norwegian border, just a couple of minutes after midday.
1pm: Random roadside shot, we're looking for somewhere for lunch.
2pm: Found a spot under a shady tree eventually, no luck finding somewhere lake-side, despite all the lakes, just leaving the lunch-spot after having lunch.
3pm: Just cycled to the top of a big hill, listening to Norwegian lessons on the little mp3 device. About to coast downhill, which is nice and cool in the heat.
4pm: Taken a bit after 4 as I was in the supermarket at the time. Pack away extra groceries (fruit/veg we didn't want to buy earlier, as it was going to be so warm today) and consult the map.
5pm: Following signs towards Oslo now!
6pm: Found a spot to camp and now we're cooking dinner and setting up camp - I was actually putting up the tent when I realised it was photo time.
7pm: Dinner over, we retreat to the tent as there are lots of biting insects.
8pm: Bedtime - earlier than usual, but we didn't sleep last night, thanks to the internet and a noisy campground.

Location: From Ed, Sweden - Kongsbakk, Norway
Distance cycled: 100km
Trip total: 4735km

Lease Option To Purchase Real Estate (Earl Huses Real Estate Series)

A Lease Option allows you to rent and occupy the home while having a contract to purchase the property for a set amount at a predetermined time in the future. There are two documents involved; a lease or rental agreement, and a purchase contract to buy the property at a later date. Lease purchase agreements vary from transaction to transaction, so there is not one universally standard contract.

However, with many Lease Options you have the right to purchase the property by a certain date, but are not obligated to do so. Most often, options money is non refundable in the event you do not purchase the property. With a lease purchase, you skip paying closing costs, traditional down payment and other fees normally found in a purchase using conventional mortgages.

While you are leasing, you have no taxes or property insurance to pay (the owner does that). Major repairs are normally the owner's responsibility until you buy the house, at which time YOU become the owner!
